Al Roker joins Windswept as EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Filming is finished, and we're now editing the final film together. We couldn't have gotten to this stage without your support, so THANK YOU.

We're also writing to share the great news that America's weatherman, Al Roker, has joined WINDSWEPT as an Executive Producer through his production company, Al Roker Entertainment. Al and his team will be part of the creative process as we edit the film and help us find paths to distribute and market WINDSWEPT once it is complete.

L to R: Al Roker, WINDSWEPT’s Rufus Lusk, StoryCorps’ Seckeita Taylor Lewis, WINDSWEPT’s Elise Hu, and Michael Counter of Al Roker Entertainment

We're so grateful for this new partnership, but we still need to raise funds to finish the film. Media consolidation and cuts to funding for the arts have made this a really difficult environment for documentary, as you probably know. I know not everyone can give right now, but if you can, please pitch in (or pitch in again) so we can get to a final cut of WINDSWEPT, and begin submitting it to film festivals. Any amount makes a difference.
